The Unicorn Owl is a funny combination of the unicorn, a mythical horned horse much beloved by little girls between the ages of 3 and 87, as well as an owl, the symbol of wisdom. This is one very smart unicorn The pattern is easy to make (two crocheted halves stitched together), it’s lots of fun to decorate (here’s an idea for non-battery-powered relaxation with the kids) and is a fun amigurumi animal to customize and match to your kids’ tastes. Make a whole flight (herd??) of these in different colors and styles. A link to the free pattern is below photos.

Due to their shape, owls are great for making out of two halves. For a less psychedelic project, check out the heart belly owl, also a great and enjoyable project.
