Potholders are just that: a thick cloth item to stop you from burning your hands when you lift a hot pot. That’s the ho-hum mundane version. We, crocheters, know that a pot holder can be so much more than that; That they can be a key piece of decoration for your kitchen as well. Here are some ideas.
Dress Potholder Free Crochet Pattern
This cute miniature dress with a hanging loop (an almost requirement for storing pot holders) is a wonderful little piece of eye-candy that will look great contrasting with and softening the hard-edged minimalism of modern kitchens. You can make these little beauties in just about any color, and with any pattern of color bands. They’re a great little project for making little additions to housewarming gifts or just for using up yarn ends.
