Shawl For Rachel Free Crochet Pattern
Shawl for Rachel is a really simple triangular shawl made of granny stripes and lace panels. It’s a great project for beginners to make their first shawl. A link to free patterns is under the photos.
The crescent shawl is a variant of the triangle shawl, where the outer edge of the triangle is a curve rather than a straight line, and the two halves of the shawl make a crescent moon shape with a definite hook at the horns. It’s an attractive design that gives a lovely drape down the back, and best of all is no harder to make than a normal triangular shawl. It also as an attractive, variegated surface that adds to the appeal.
The Lovely Luisa is a more traditionally shaped triangular shawl, but one that makes use of a lace-like crocheted texture and a fancy floral edge to support the lovely color gradient . It too is a beautiful piece.
